Ingredients:

2 cans (28 oz) crushed tomatoes

4 cups vegetable broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp dried oregano


Instructions:

1. Add the crushed tomatoes, vegetable broth, chopped onion, and minced garlic to the slow cooker.


2. Stir in the sugar, salt, pepper, basil, and oregano.


3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours, or until the flavors are well combined.


4. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the heavy cream.


5. Use an immersion blender to puree the soup, or leave it chunky for texture.

Ingredients:

2 lbs chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)

1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes

1 can (15 oz) corn kernels, drained

1 can (4 oz) diced green chilies

1 onion, chopped

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp cumin

4 cups chicken broth

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions:

1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.

4. Cook on low for 6-7 hours.

Instructions:

3. Cook on low for 7-8 hours, or until the lentils are soft and the soup is thickened.


4. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
